MEMORY IS ETERNAL, ITS VALUE IS SACRED
The memory and reverence of our ancestors, as well as their brave and courageous deeds, is one of the noble qualities of the Uzbek people. It has become a tradition in our country to honor the holy memory of the heroes who died on the battlefields for the freedom of the motherland and the inviolability of its borders, as well as to show special respect for the elderly.
A striking example of this is the spiritual and educational events held on the occasion of May 9 – the Day of Remembrance and Honors. During such events, visits are also made to the families of employees who died in the line of duty.
Employees of the Main Directorate of "Protection" of the National Guard and its regional units visited veterans of the Second World War, as well as the families of colleagues who died in the line of duty. During the visits, basic food products and funds in the amount of 2 million soums were transferred from the command of the National Guard. After that, the staff recalled interesting events from their joint work and read the Koran in honor of the memory of their comrades. Gifts were also presented to the children of the victims, which filled their hearts with joy.
In addition, employees of the "Protection" service visited colleagues who are being treated in hospitals, wished them a speedy recovery and presented holiday gifts.
No one is forgotten, nothing is forgotten. The bright memory of the comrades who sacrificed their lives for the sake of peace and tranquility of the Motherland will forever remain in our hearts. It is the sacred duty of every citizen to remember and respect their sacrifices.
