Prevention of cyberbullying: a meeting full of practical skills

A specialized cybersecurity event with the participation of military personnel was held at the Directorate of Protection of Tashkent city. The experts were employees of the Department for Combating Crimes in the field of Information Technology of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city, who introduced the participants to the key aspects of safe behavior in the digital environment.

During the special lectures, the basics of cyberculture and the requirements for secure digital behavior were analyzed in detail. Special attention was paid to modern methods of personal data protection, as well as rules for the safe use of social networks and the Internet. Experts explained in detail how to detect and prevent phishing attacks and other types of cyber threats.

The practical block of the event was based on the analysis of real cases: participants studied common schemes of cyberbullying and worked out algorithms for their detection using specific examples. This allowed us to consolidate theoretical knowledge and form a clear understanding of the mechanisms for countering digital threats.

Information flyers were provided to all participants to expand the coverage of preventive work. They contain up-to-date instructions on countering typical cases of cyberbullying that people encounter in their daily lives.

Such events have a double meaning: on the one hand, they enhance the skills of law enforcement officers in the field of cybersecurity, on the other, they contribute to the formation of a digital culture among the population. Together, this strengthens the cybercrime prevention system and increases the overall security of the information space.
