The head of the Department of Protection met with relatives of Private Abdulvokhidov Abdulhodi Abdulaziz ugli, who died on February 10, 2020, while rescuing a drowning woman: while on duty in Uichi district of Namangan region, he saw a person drowning in the Naryn River, which flows through the protected area, rushed to help, and, having saved the victimʼs life, died himself in the strong current.

During the conversation, it was emphasized that Abdulhodi showed true courage: until the last minute, he remained faithful to his oath and fulfilled his official duty, sacrificing his life to save another person. His actions are an example of true heroism and loyalty to duty, worthy of the title of brave son of Uzbekistan.

Abdulkhodi Abdulvokhidov was born on June 27, 1994, and died on February 10, 2020, before reaching his 29th birthday. During his service, he proved himself to be a responsible employee, leaving a fond memory in the hearts of his mentors and colleagues.

The head of the Department of Protection took personal control of issues related to social protection and ongoing support for the family of the fallen hero.

In addition, a festive program was organized for the colleague's family and gifts were presented.

For his feat, committed on the eve of the 29th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulhodi Abdulvokhidov was posthumously awarded the “Jasorat” medal in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

In order to perpetuate the memory of the hero, a bas-relief of him has been installed at Secondary School №3 in Turakurgan district of Namangan region. This serves as a vivid example of courage for the younger generation.
