A special excursion to the National Library of Uzbekistan was organized for employees of the Directorate of Protection of Tashkent City in order to develop a culture of reading and to pay more attention to the process of acquiring knowledge. This event played an important role in increasing the interest of employees in the book.

During the excursion, library representatives told the staff about the history of the National Library of Uzbekistan, its activities, and the rare manuscripts available here, electronic resources, and modern library services. The security personnel also familiarized themselves with the book collection and the literature they are interested in.

During the event, employees were explained the benefits of reading books, reading culture, and the possibilities of acquiring knowledge through modern technologies.

In the future, it is planned to hold such events regularly, which will play an important role in the promotion and improvement of reading culture.
