In order to implement the tasks set by the head of our state to improve the activities of internal affairs bodies in the field of security, a working group led by the head of the Department of Protection, K. A. Shodibekov, carried out work on fundamental reform of security activities in Surkhandarya region and optimization of the work of Protection units.

The survey examined the state of technical security of particularly important and categorized facilities, as well as national economy facilities under protection. An analysis of the conditions of service and the level of material and technical support for personnel was carried out, and an assessment of the combat readiness of the units was given.

At meetings with the heads of protected facilities, issues of improving the protection of territories and the introduction of digital technologies into security activities were discussed. In addition, meetings have been organized with the families of employees raising children with disabilities. The leadership of the regional Protection Service is tasked with creating the necessary conditions for such children.

Instructions were given to re-check the technical stability of more than 6 000 objects and more than 5 000 houses under protection. Based on the results of the inspection, instructions were sent to the management staff, and the necessary funds were allocated to eliminate the identified shortcomings and implement the proposed measures.

Responsible persons were instructed to integrate the activities of the monitoring centers of the Protection units with the duty units of the internal affairs bodies, to organize the interaction of rapid response teams with industry services, as well as to work out joint actions in suppressing crimes and offenses.
