Today, ensuring environmental safety is one of the priorities of society and the state. Sustainable development is possible only under the condition of effective environmental protection, rational use of natural resources and strict observance of environmental legislation.

As part of this agenda, a round table on "Environmental safety is a requirement of time" was organized for employees of the Protection Service of Ferghana region. The event was attended by representatives of the regional Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection.

During the meeting, the role of law enforcement agencies in ensuring environmental safety, current provisions of environmental legislation and measures to prevent environmental violations were discussed in detail. Special attention was paid to the issues of improving the environmental protection system and improving the ecological culture of the population. The participants also considered ways to implement environmental requirements in their daily work.

The event became an important platform for the exchange of practical experience and the development of specific measures aimed at strengthening the environmental safety of the region.
