Large-scale events were held in Shakarkishlok mahalla of Ferghana city, which belongs to the "red" category, as part of the Prevention Day. They were organized by the Directorate of Protection of Ferghana region together with the staff of the Patrol and Post Service. The main goal was the prevention of crime and delinquency, as well as the improvement of legal awareness and the development of legal culture among residents.
The event began with a pre-service briefing. The management explained in detail to the employees the tasks that had to be performed in the "red" category zone, reminded them of the safety rules and highlighted the key principles of preventive work.
After the briefing, the staff began making house-to-house rounds. They visited residential buildings and had conversations with residents. During the talks, special attention was paid to the importance of the active participation of every citizen in crime prevention and personal responsibility for the security of the neighborhood.
As part of the explanatory work, residents were informed of the basic requirements: it is necessary to observe internal regulations, strengthen neighborhood control and immediately report any suspicious situations.
Special attention was paid to social support. Meetings with low-income families were organized, during which the responsible persons were given specific instructions to solve the identified problems.
