As part of the implementation of the priority tasks identified by the head of state on the fundamental improvement of protection activities in the system of internal affairs bodies, a working group led by the head of the Department of Protection, K. A. Shodibekov, conducted a comprehensive study. His goals were to further develop protection activities, effectively organize the work of departments and improve the quality of service.
In the course of the study, the technical stability of particularly important, categorized and national economic facilities under protection was analyzed in detail. Special attention is paid to the level of equipment with modern protection equipment, conditions of service, as well as the state of combat and professional training of employees.
In parallel, working meetings were held with the heads of protected facilities. During the constructive dialogue, key issues of improving the security of territories, the introduction of digital technologies and the use of innovative solutions were discussed.
As part of the field event, an inspection of the sports complex of the Protection service of Kashkadarya region was carried out, where an open dialogue with sports youth took place. In addition, separate meetings have been organized with the families of protection personnel raising children with disabilities. Following the meetings, the responsible persons were instructed to create all the necessary conditions and opportunities for such children.
Separately, instructions have been issued to conduct a full-scale re-inspection of the technical stability of more than 8 000 protected facilities and about 11 000 residential buildings. To promptly eliminate the identified shortcomings and implement the proposed measures, the staff of the management office were given appropriate instructions, as well as the necessary logistical resources.
Responsible managers have been given specific tasks to integrate the work of the monitoring centers of the security units with the duty units of the internal affairs bodies. It is planned to organize the activities of rapid response teams in cooperation with industry services, as well as strengthen cooperation in the field of crime prevention and detection.
